The things people usually ask

Everything below comes from real conversations with people thinking about their first session. If your question isn’t here, ask me directly. Nothing is too small, and nothing is too silly.

£60 for 50 minutesFree 15-minute intro callSaturdays in North ShieldsOne to one, ages 16 and over
The relationship matters more than anything else in therapy, which is why I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call. You can tell me a little about what's bringing you, ask anything you like, and there's no obligation to book afterwards.
A gentle note about urgent help: counselling is not a crisis service, and if things feel unmanageable right now you deserve support today, not in a few days. If you are in immediate danger, please call 999. The Samaritans are there to listen free of charge, any hour of any day, on 116 123, and you can reach NHS urgent mental health support by calling 111 and choosing option 2. Reaching out for urgent help is never overreacting.

Want the detail on what a session costs and how the work unfolds? It is all set out on the services page, and the range of things I work with is on what I can help with.

Still wondering about something?

The quickest way to a real answer is a real conversation. Send me a message, or request the free 15-minute intro call and ask me anything at all. I make those calls on Monday to Wednesday evenings, between 7pm and 9pm.

Or ring me on 07355 371467. Voicemail is fine, I’ll call you back.
